FoxKids switches to Jetix

Fox Kids is re-branding as Jetix. The name change to Jetix Europe is part of FKE's ongoing re-name to Jetix, the name for the new global action-adventure kids entertainment alliance between FKE, ABC Cable Networks and Fox Kids Latin America which will reach over 140 million television households in 79 countries and 18 languages.

Fox Kids channels in Europe and the Middle East have recently launched Jetix branded programming blocks and will begin transitioning to Jetix-named channels from late 2004. Says Paul Taylor, Interim Chief Executive Officer, FKE: "FKE and Disney have already started to develop exciting, new, original high-energy programming to bring to Jetix audiences worldwide. Jetix will enable us to continue to successfully leverage our programming library through our channels, programme distribution and consumer products. “
