The French Prime Minister Jean-Pierre Raffarin has confirmed the launch of digital terrestrial television in March next year. The details were confirmed in a letter to the regulator CSA. Transmissions will be in the MPEG-2 standard and not, as had been requested by some broadcasters, in either MPEG-4 or Windows Media 9. | ||
