UKTV, an independent joint venture network between BBC Worldwide and Flextech Television, part of MSO Telewest, is launching a searchable EPG service on 9 August. Users press the interactive red button and can then search listings by title, actor, or key word. They can also view all listings up to six hours in advance. They are charged 15p per minute for the connection and can opt to receive a text message 30 minutes before a programme begins. DITG will provide the iTV service for the diginet while Broadsystem wil provide the SMS service. | ||
