London-based Sportev, the interactive sports video content publisher, has signed a three-year deal with the FA Premier League to be their official mobile production partner. Under the agreement, Sportev will deliver a range of multimedia content services for mobile phone providers who have bought the rights to the Football Association's Premier League, the FT reported. The FA has already sold the mobile rights in 40 territories. Will Muirhead, Sportev CEO, said: "It is an innovative agreement that enables the FA Premier League to double the revenues they receive from mobile networks worldwide." The type of video content provided by Sportev will include in-game clips of goals from every match, highlights of every game straight after the final whistle and a weekly round-up package. The company will also produce an MMS service with images of all the action on the pitch and an SMS global alert. | ||
