TalkSPORT radio is launching its own DTV channel, in January. TalkSPORT TV will air on sky digital's channel 235 from 4pm to 10pm. The programme will combine a broadcast of the radio output, with the addition of digital video content streamed from the TalkSPORT studio. "There is a huge potential for the TV channel, and we will be developing it from now until the full-scale launch in January, after which we will continue development," said Bill Ridley, programme director at TalkSPORT radio. TalkSPORT is owned by The Wireless Group, which is currently fighting a court case with RAJAR, the radio measurement authority, claiming that RAJAR's refusal to adopt electronic monitoring of audience figures has led to a substantial under-estimation of the total number of TalkSPORT's listeners. | ||
