Eurosport 2 prepares for launch

The new sports channel Eurosport 2 is expected to make its debut on January 10. Designed to complement Eurosport, it will have a strong focus on live events, which will account for 25% of its 1,800 hours annual programming and be exclusive to the channel. Live events will be broadcast between 14.00-18.30 and 20.00-23.00 on weekdays, while at weekends they will have slots between 09.00-12.00, 12.30-20.00 and 21.00-23.00. News bulletins will meanwhile be offered three times daily and a magazine programme named Eurosport 2 Mag every evening between 18.30-20.00. Eurosport 2 is likely to secure extensive distribution throughout Central and Eastern Europe, with one of the first platforms to carry the (localised) service in Poland being Cyfra+.

if it is like eurosport 1 it will show some wrestling but not the american type----www wwe
