Sky Italia has begun the widely reported switch to the Videoguard encryption system. Several Mediaguard-encrypted channels, including Sky Sports 1-3 and Sky Calcio, were switched to the new format over the weekend. According to reports, the rest of Sky Italia's pay-TV services will follow suit shortly. Videoguard is an uncompromised encryption system as used by sky digital in the UK. | ||
