The French Canal Plus, pay tv of Vivendi Universal, has declared to have obtained the rights for transmission of the games of soccer of Champions League for three seasons to leave from 2003-2004. In an official notice the society has reported that Uefa has chosen it for the exclusive rights in order to transmit the main European soccer tornament The decision coincides with one dispute in France on the rights of transmission of the championship games. Canal Plus has said to have negotiated the agreement with Uefa in particularly favorable conditions. | ||
