Eureka on TPS

French digital package TPS, owned by TF1 and M6 is to launch three new television channels for young viewers: Eureka, Tfou and Boomerang on the 23 of April - informed Mr Emmanuel Florent on the MIPTV in Cannes. The most interesting channel for viewers
aged from 7 to 14 years old will be the Eureka channel.

Eureka will be produced by TPS Jeunesse, which already made two others television channels: Teletoon and Teletoon +1. The new channel will broadcast the science programmes with adventure and fiction elements, especialy designed for viewers aged from 7 to 14 years. The channel will follow English channels example, however TPS Jeunesse will work very hard to create a typically French versions.

Obviously all three new channels TPS will be scramled from planet gear version Hot Bird - 13E.
