PREMIERE DIFFUSE AVEC "PREMIERE INTERNATIONAL" UN BOUQUET INTERNATIONAL SUR ASTRA 23,5° EST

SES ASTRA, société du groupe SES GLOBAL (Euronext Paris et Bourse de Luxembourg : SESG), et l'opérateur allemand de télévision payante Premiere ont annoncé aujourd'hui la signature d'un contrat portant sur la diffusion numérique du bouquet de programmes "Premiere International". La réception des programmes encodés de "Premiere International" sera possible à compter de septembre 2005 via le système de satellites ASTRA sur la position orbitale 23,5° Est. Premiere International s'adresse aux abonnés en réception directe. Premiere proposera le bouquet également à des câblo-opérateurs disposant d'une tête de réseau permettant la réception de la position orbitale 23,5° Est.

Le bouquet de programmes international qui sera retransmis par Premiere via le satellite offre une palette complète de programmes englobant divertissements, émotion, films, séries et informations, en langues russe, italienne et turque.

Pour capter l'ensemble des programmes diffusés sur les positions orbitales 19,2° Est et 23,5° Est via les satellites ASTRA à l'aide d'un seul récepteur de satellite, les téléspectateurs auront besoin d'un DUO LNB qui vient d'être mis au point. Sur les antennes paraboliques, il suffira de remplacer l'Universal LNB actuel par le nouveau DUO LNB. Les usagers apprécieront le fait que tous les programmes à capter se règlent automatiquement et qu'aucune commutation manuelle entre les deux positions orbitales n'est nécessaire.

Grâce au DUO LNB qui sera disponible dans les magasins spécialisés à partir d'août 2005, on pourra capter simultanément, en plus des 250 canaux de télévision et de radio gratuits sur ASTRA 19,2° Est, les nouvelles offres numériques de programmes sur ASTRA 23,5° Est dans la bande de fréquence 10,70 GHz - 12,70 GHz. Grâce aux quatre sorties prévues, on pourra sans problèmes raccorder au DUO LNB jusqu'à quatre récepteurs analogiques ou numériques et/ou deux récepteurs analogiques et deux récepteurs numériques ou quatre récepteurs différents.

Le Président du directoire de Premiere AG, Dr. Georg Kofler, n'a pas caché sa joie lors du lancement de "Premiere International" sur ASTRA et a ajouté : "Le contrat passé entre Premiere AG et SES ASTRA nous permettra, après le lancement des émissions, de toucher plus de 1,5 millions de personnes en Allemagne et en Autriche qui parlent des langues internationales. Notre bouquet international vient compléter notre offre de programmes à l'attention de cette audience non négligeable".

The reception of the encodés programs of "Premiere International" will be possible as from September 2005 via the system of satellites ASTRA on the orbital position 23,5° East Premiere International is addressed to the subscribers in direct reception. Premiere will propose the bouquet also with câblo-operators having a network head allowing the reception of the orbital position 23,5° Is.

The international bouquet of programs which will be retransmitted by Premiere via the satellite offers a complete pallet of programs including entertainments, emotion, films, series and information, in languages Russian, Italian and Turkish.

To collect the whole of the programs diffused on the orbital positions 19,2° Is and 23,5° Is via satellites ASTRA using only one receiver of satellite, the televiewers will need a DUET LNB which has been just developed. On the parabolic aerials, it will be enough to replace current Universal LNB by new DUET LNB. The users will appreciate the fact that all the programs to be collected are regulated automatically and that no manual commutation between the two orbital positions is necessary.

Thanks to the DUET LNB which will be available in the stores specialized as from August 2005, one will be able to collect simultaneously, in addition to the 250 channels of television and of radio operator free on ASTRA 19,2° Is, the new numerical offers of programs on ASTRA 23,5° Is in the frequency band 10,70 GHz - 12,70 GHz. Thanks to the four exits envisaged, one will be able without problems to connect to DUET LNB to four analogical or numerical receivers and/or two receivers analogical and two numerical receivers or four different receivers.
