Tatu told to keep it clean

Tatu are being warned to keep their act clean when they make their only public appearance in Britain next week during a promotional visit.

HMV bosses, who are hosting the girls' performance next week, are to tell their managers that the girls must be wary of their family audience.

The Russian pair - who claim to be lesbian lovers - cancelled their British arena shows yesterday, but HMV said a personal appearance in London's Oxford Street store will go ahead.

Promoters of the axed Wembley Arena and Manchester MEN Arena shows had been concerned they had been given no reassurances about the nature of the show.

Now HMV is insisting the girls' appearance should be acceptable for young fans who might attend with parents.

A spokesman for the retailer said: "We are concerned to ensure that no offence is caused so we are asking the girls, through their management, to tone down their behaviour while performing on stage and not to perform any simulated acts as part of their routine."

Up to 1,000 people are expected to cram into the store for the appearance on Tuesday.
