Vodafone and BSkyB launch TV for mobiles

MOBILE phone group Vodafone and satellite broadcaster BSkyB today launched a 19-channel mobile television service.

Sky Mobile TV, will give users of Vodafone's third-generation (3G) phones access to 24-hour news channels as well as sport, entertainment and documentary programmes.

The service will be free until the end of January and would be charged at £5 a month thereafter. It is offering two packages: one for a news, sport and factual programmes and one for entertainment and music.
