Factual giant Discovery Networks Europe has underlined its commitment to the Italian market by launching three new channels, which will appear on the new DTH platform Sky Italia when it launches later this year. In addition to its dedicated local feed, Discovery will launch Discovery Science containing strands focusing on space, science, medicine, forces of nature and flight; Discovery Civilization containing culture, history, modern history, conflict and mystery strands; and lastly, Discovery Travel and Adventure. Discovery also flagged its co-production agreement with Italian broadcast powerhouse Mediaset -; the fruits of which will be on screen in a few months. | ||
