Zone Vision renews Hallmark deal

Zone Vision’s distribution arm has renewed two deals for the support of The Hallmark Channel and Turner Broadcasting System Europe’s CNN, Cartoon Network and TCM. The deal sees Zone Vision continuing to manage carriage of the Hallmark Channel throughout Central and Eastern Europe, Balkans, Baltics and Israel.

Hallmark’s parent Crown Media International has renewed its existing carriage agreement for a further five years.

Crown Media Holdings, Inc. owns and operates cable television channels dedicated to high quality, broad appeal, entertainment programming. The company currently operates and distributes the Hallmark Channel in the US and more than 120 countries. The combined channels have over 100 million subscribers worldwide.

Zone Vision’s definitive market knowledge has made it the first choice for major cable and satellite channels seeking representation. It incorporates a blue chip client base of 28 channels including some of the world’s highest profile broadcasting names such as Hallmark, Discovery, Viacom, Turner and Eurosport. In 2002, Zone Vision managed over 28.5 million subscribers for its third party channels.

Chris Wronski, President of Zone Vision, said:

"Our aim is to consolidate our existing channel representation business as well as adding new names to the portfolio and we are delighted to renew this agreement with one of our longest-standing clients."
