Paris Premiere, the theme channel owned by utilities group Suez, is for sale. According to the French daily Le Figaro, the battle of who will take control over the channel will be held between media group Lagardere and joint bid of two television networks TF1 and M6. TF1, owner of the biggest commercial television network in France and co-owner of TPS satellite venture, is planning to pool its resources with M6 to jointly bid for Paris Premiere. Le Figaro wrote last week that media group Lagardere has already put its bid for the channel. Paris Premiere is thought to be worth between 10 and 20 million euros. Lagardere's offer is believed to be at the lower end of this range. | ||
