Electronic manufacturer Netgem has launched its I-player internet-capable digital terrestrial television set-top box on Spain's DTT marketplace, which has long been held up by a lack of suitable set-top boxes and DTT content. The launch comes as many electronic manufacturers are preparing for a massive end-of-year box launch in an attempt to foster the market, and Netgem hopes to be able to take advantage of its experience in the UK with the launch of Freeview, where it has seen a similar DTT revival to that envisaged for the Spanish market. | ||
