SKY TV Off The Air Until Midnight 9:03 PM, 30 Mar 2006 Print this story A satellite position problem has taken Sky television off the air tonight throughout New Zealand and Australia. A spokesperson for Sky says the Optus B satellite which sits above New Zealand and Australia has suffered an outage after a routine repositioning manouevre. He says Optus has advised it will take approximately three hours to fix the problem. Sky channels have been off the air since about 7pm Thursday night.
