UK cableco Kingston Communications is to keep afloat its interactive television service. The Hull-based company is believed to have found support from Blockbuster Video, which provides films on demand on the service, to keep its loss-making service, known as KIT, for at least another year. Kingston warned in May that it would have to close the service unless it could find external backers or government support. KIT, which provides information, shopping and films on demand, lost E5.4 million last year. | ||
