ATV+ in ORF package

Austrian private television station ATV+, which started digital broadcast on 1 June 2003 from Eutelsat Sesat - 36E satellite, will be available in ORF Digital package on Astra satellite since a middle of September 2003.

The channel could start its broadcasts on ORT package thanks to the successful negotiations between ORF and ATV. ORF digital satellite package, which has a new encryption system, the Austrian private television station has found as reliable solution for the spreading of its program via satellite.

ATV+ will be accesible to more then 230,000 subscribers of ORF digital package.

ATV parameters are:
Eutelsat Sesat - 36E; 12,632V; SR=5632; FEC=2/3; Power Vu.
