Magnet launches Polish TV package

Irish DSL TV provider Magnet has launched a TV package designed to appeal to the country's Polish community.

The "Magnet Entertainment Poland" packages costs €30 per month excluding line rental and includes three Polish TV channels - TV Polonia, TVP Kultura and TVP3 - along with phone minutes to Poland and a broadband internet connection.

Charlie Ardagh, Magnet's marketing director, said: "Ireland is now one of the most culturally diverse countries in the world. It makes sense that products and services emerge to cater for the various communities across the country. Thanks to our technological capabilities we are able to offer such a tailored service to Poles in Ireland. Now they can enjoy their favourite TV shows from Poland right here in Ireland, as well as being able to keep in touch with their family and friends back home."
