NBA slam dunks TV deals

The U.S. National Basketball Association has licensed programming to Rede TV in Brazil and Canal+ in Poland, among others, for the first time. Programming deals have also been renewed with a raft of broadcasters including NHK in Japan, Sky Italia, and DSF and Premiere World in Germany. In a statement the NBA said it had secured distribution for its NBA TV channel in France and Russia for the first time. There will also be co-produced NBA programming with broadcasters including Hong Kong terrestrial and U.S. Hispanic net Telemundo.
