James Murdoch quits Phoenix Satellite board

James Murdoch, BSkyB's newly appointed CEO, has resigned from Phoenix Satellite Television Holdings board of directors.

Hong Kong-based Phoenix Satellite has not yet named a replacement for Murdoch. The resignation comes three weeks after Murdoch, the youngest son of media tycoon Rupert Murdoch, quit as CEO of Star Group Ltd, which owns 38 per cent of Phoenix Satellite.
