X Dream TV encrypted in Dreamcrypt

X Dream TV channel has started a test broadcast from Hot Bird satellite. The channel is encrypted in Dreamcrypt system. This new erotic channel will start regular broadcasts encrypted in Dreamcrypt in January 2004. It is already known, how the original code cards on this channels will look like. The card will only work with Dreambox receivers and Dreamcrypt CAM Common Interface modules.

Many Internet websites publish un-correct information about the new channel. There is information, erotic X Dream TV channel is to be encrypted in Power Vu or even in ...Icecrypt. The truth is that X Dream TV will be encrypted in a specially created system - Dreamcrypt, which will work in Dreambox receivers and in new Dreamcrypt CI modules.

The subscription fee is supposed to be very reasonable. However there is no additional information as yet.

Customers, who already have Dreambox receivers or are intend to buy one (only an original receiver with hologram or receipt from authorized dealer) will be able to get a better subscription for X Dream TV very cheap. They will only pay 30% of the total subscription.

The original card for X Dream TV will also work in new unofficially universal Common Interface modules - Dragon CAM (Unfortunately, the price is unknown as yet).

Most likely, Dreambox receivers and Dreamcrypt CI modules will become very popular very soon.

My System: Dreambox 7020Si receiver, PLi image loaded and Irdeto and Viaccess cards installed. Dishes for Nilesat + Hotbird with lnb's for BADR and Eurobird 9

I have just purchased a Dreambox 7020S based on the fact that it has 2 Smart card readers as I need to use Irdeto and Viaccess cards at the same time in the same machine.

There is no mention on the Dreambox Website that these Smart Card slots are only for Dreamcrypt, whatever that is?? This only becomes apparent once I receive the machine and manual.

I feel I have been conned...............
