Flysat have news of a Badr 4 launch channel on 26E

11996 H
27500 3/4

launch currently expected November 8th at 2001 GMT. Shes going up on a Proton so I would expect ILS to webstream the coverage too.

International Launch Services (ILS) said on Monday it is ready to launch on Thursday, Nov. 9, Arabsat's BADR-4, at Launch Pad 39 in Baikonur Cosmodrome. BADR-4 will be lofted by Proton M/Breeze M with liftoff time set for 2:01 a.m., Nov. 9, in Baikonur, 20:01 Nov. 8 GMT and 3:01 p.m. Nov. 8 EST. The BADR-4 satellite is an Astrium Eurostar E2000+ model, the third Eurostar satellite to be launched this year on Proton. Astrium contracted with ILS for the launch on behalf of the end-user, Arabsat

My System: Smart lnb, 1m Gibby dish, Stab motor, TM5200D receiver, 57east to 61west. DTT from Sudbury. Virgin Media broadband.

1st launch that I have ever watched. Pathetic presenters on the launch programme on 22 degrees west. Gave up watching after 15 minutes.
Glad to see that all seems to be OK with the sat launchj.

BADR3 channels move to the new bird BADR4

first working frequency is 11938 V 27500 3/4

thought they move badr2 first !!!
