Source: FT/TASS The first Kazakh satellite that will be made in Russia will ensure television broadcasting and communication all over Kazakhstan. Launching of the satellite is planned for late 2005 by Russian Proton rocket. The national satellite Kazsat will cost 100 million dollars. The geostationary space vehicle equipped with 10-12 receiving and transmitting devices will ensure television broadcasting and communication for the whole territory of Kazakhstan. | ||
