TCM and Cartoon enter to Germany

Turner Broadcasting System (TBS), company owned by Time Warner Media Company, plans to start broadcasting of its thematic channels in Germany. TCM and Cartoon channels will enter into German cable and satellite market.

TBS Deutschland based in Berlin will be responsible for TBS`s business in Germany, mainly for Cartoon Network, Turner Classic Movies (TCM) and CNN International channels distribution.

TBS Deutschland will be also responsible for CNN International channels distribution in Germany, Austria and German-speaking part of Switzerland. Time Warner has shares of German music VIVA and VIVA Plus channels and in news channels n-tv.
