FTV Solus cards now no longer available

According to the Free2view website new and replacement FTV (Free to View) cards for Sky digiboxes are now not available.

There are no current plans to extend the service beyond the 31st January 2004 which means that the only way now to view ITV, Channel 4 and Five on satellite is to subscribe to Sky in on form or another.

There is a small possibility of the service being reopened as discussion between the relevant parties is still ongoing but, for the moment, the service is finished.

I'll bet those £23.50 cards that have already been issued seem good value now. I wonder what they will fetch on the open market now? PaulR
