Pace prepares for first German digital deployment

Set-top-box vendor Pace Micro Technology, has received certification for its DS210 set-top box from Premiere, Germany's largest digital payTV operator.
Premiere has ordered Pace's DS210 to support their service rollout across Germany.

Commenting on the certification Heinrich Haase, Pace's area manager central Europe said: " We look forward to helping Premiere develop its subscriber base and bring the benefits of their digital TV service to even more German viewers."

Pace's DS210 digital satellite set-top box incorporates the Nagravision conditional access and will be used to deliver Premiere's multichannel pay-TV programmes and PREMIERE DIREKT, the broadcaster's pay-per-view channels. In addition, DS210 users will be able to access Germany's free-to-air line-up.
