Please help me short out the problem of SET TOP BOX STRUCK. after switch the set top box, automatically struck. can;t see channels, menu ....plase help

no menu noting under display , Just reset if menu active, If not check weather keys are pressed .

Dear friend,
Nothing keys not working either remote / front panel of receiver. Full Struck condition. after switched on, Just display "001" channel no only. what i will do ?please help me. how i can i reinstall software? if u know plz let me know. vishwa

Dear Friend,

In that Receiver, there is no model number, I have checked fully,..... i can't find out model name. Just only Brand Name : SUPERCOMM.

What i will do Boss? How i can re-install software? which loader i have to use for this? Do u have any loader? and loader & bin file, settings file.. pleasee help me out....if u have plz send to me v+i+s+h+w+a+2+3+@+g+m+a+i+l+.+c+o+m. Please.....

Vish its critical to understand what kind of receiver you have...! Its better you take few snaps and paste it here, Soo every body can check it and may get help from any side, If it is local china made any kind of chinise firmware can match on that.Until than you cannot do any thing. Or else u will loss your Receiver.

Dear Frd,

If i use some other firmware, what will happned? receiver will damage??? ..ohh god.. plz tell me.. then I have Indian Dish TV zenega cd1004s model.. with latest software..its automatically updated.. there is no option for sat/tp edit. what i will do? can u have Zenega cd 1004s..old firmware??...or initial factory original bin file...plzz tell me... how can i get Handan download manager?....

Did you try to unplug the box from the mains and wait few minutes and then plug it again ?

There is nothing much that you can do or anybody else without knowing what OEM model you have.
If I were you, I would take it to the shop where you bought it and ask them for their advice or send it for repair but ask for an estimate first.

Why do you think it is a software problem ?
It might also be a hardware problem.

BTW the picture you attached isn't helpful, even the logo is not shown. Try to make few more with details and zoom. Also from backside to see the connectors and the bottom side.

Can you give us a little bit more information like:
When did you get the STB
How did you get it
Was there any information in the box container like a manual or troubleshooting info.
If you still have the box container, look for any more information like made in which country.
The name and address of the distributor.

Without your full cooperation and feedback, I doubt if anybody can help you.

No hardware problem. bcoz its happening when i am doing the auto search & trasnsponder edit time...suddenly its gone like struck condition. . Brand Name : Supercomm. no manual for that receiver. no manufacturer name... Only just display brand name : Supercomm. backside is in Rs-232 port available. please help me. model looks like image what i attached

What do you mean by struck ? Is it stuck or struck ?

Do I understand that you can still work with the receiver to do auto search or it is stuck all the time ?

If you can still make it function, then check if there is an about or help menu and it might show you some information about the software.
If it does, post full details even an image.

ok. There is nothing more that I can do to help.
The only other possibility that I can think of is that you might get it out of the hang condition by using telnet to negotiate with it.
Need a null modem cable between PC and RS-232 connector at the back.
I am not an expert on telnet, so I will leave it to the experts.
Make a new thread with the heading "Telnet communication with STB" so that members with telnet experience might see it and reply.

I need the same, one of customer using the Arraycom reciever and
Now it has some problem. hardware is ok.
