My System: DishTV DTH Zenega 1004s Receiver 90cm offset Sharp dish antenna | Then we should be able locate JTAG port on STB and try to burn ROM with h**ked firmware. I don't know how to identify JTAG port on board and do the wiring and run utility to take backup then edit ROM image and burn it back to STB. If any one could do this then it will be very helpful to all.

My System: DishTV DTH Zenega 1004s Receiver 90cm offset Sharp dish antenna | According to me , this port can be connected to computer through some hardware and then we can reprogram it the way we want. Just google "JTAG Programmer" you will find such devices.

My System: DishTV DTH Zenega 1004s Receiver 90cm offset Sharp dish antenna | Thats true. STB to STB is easier method no need to locate JTAG port , soldering and all and almost no risk.
