If this coverage map is accurate:

http://www.lyngsat-maps.com/maps/nss6_india.html

You have no chance of getting DD in the Phillipines

My System: newbie in dd+ in philippines

im using c band 6 feet and it has hole at center LNBF dual pole
and THE NEW problem is from insat 6 95*
now its insat 4 and 93.5 degree
i dont know that and the migration is this i downloaded it from dd+

Important- Attention: Viewers of DD Direct plus DTH Service

DD Direct+ DTH service at present beaming from satellite NSS-6 at 95o E will migrate to INSAT-4B at 93.5o E w.e.f 01/06/2007. This will involve slight rotation of dish antenna& change of parameters in Set Top Box (STB).

It may be mentioned that the reinstallation of Set-Top Box procedure may vary slightly in steps depending upon make of STB. In case of some difficulties, Viewer may consult the installation manual of STB or contact the nearest STB Dealer. Number of services in each transport stream remains unchanged.

Suggestive Procedure for Re-installation of Set –Top-Boxes.
(Shifting from NSS 6 to INSAT 4B Satellite)

* INSAT- 4B SATELLITE IS LOCATED AT 93.5o E, whereas NSS- 6 is at 95o E

* For a viewer of DD Direct+ DTH Service, change of satellite from NSS -6 to INSAT- 4B involves following two activities:

---- Slight rotation of dish antenna and
---- Change of transponder frequencies in Set Top Boxes.

Since the frequencies on new satellite are different from those on NSS-6, therefore we need to change the frequencies in STB to view DD Direct + channels.

Following steps need to be followed for receiving the DD Direct+ Channels available on INSAT- 4B satellite.

A. Deleting channels of NSS-6 Satellite

a) Press Menu button on the remote.
b ) Go to Installation menu.
c ) Go to Satellite Edit menu.
d ) Ensure that satellite name selected is NSS -6.
e ) Select Delete Sat and press OK. It will delete all the channels stored with NSS-6 Satellite.
f ) Press Exit.

B. Satellite Name change:

a). Go to Installation menu again from remote.
b). Select Satellite Edit menu.
c). Select Add New Satellite menu.
d). Select Sat Name Edit menu.
e). Enter Satellite Name as INSAT- 4B.
f). Enter Satellite Longitude as 93.5o E
g). Press Exit

C. LNB Configuration

a). Go to LNB Configuration menu. Ensure that satellite selected is INSAT- 4B only.
b). Set LNB Types as Universal.
c). Set LNB Power on.
d). Press Exit

D. Transponder (Tp) Edit:

a). Go to Transponder Edit menu. Ensure that satellite selected is INSAT- 4B.
b). Select Add New TP menu.
c). Enter TP Frequency as 10990 MHz.
d) Select Symbol rate as 27500 ksps.
e) Select Polarization as Vertical.
f) Select Scan as FTA.
g) Press OK.
h) Similarly add all other four TPs by entering the frequency, symbol rate and polarization as given below in Table-1
Table -1
S/n. Transponder Frequency (MHz) Symbol Rate (ksps) Polarization
1. 10990 27500 Vertical
2. 11070 27500 Vertical
3. 11150 27500 Vertical
4. 11490 27500 Vertical
5. 11570 27500 Vertical

E. Once the above installation is completed rotate the dish slightly to receive and optimize the signal quality on the transponders.

E. Channel Search: When the dish is fully optimized

a) Press Exit button on Remote.
b) Select Channel Search menu.
c) Select Satellite Scan as FTA.
d) Press Ok
e) IT WILL NOW SCAN ALL THE CHANNELS OF DD Direct+.

can some body teach me i dont understand this how to do and FTA??
i serached my setup box i dont find FTA there just only search channel

My System: Sky1a, Selevision, Start sat, DM 500s.

DD+ is receivable in Bahrain & Saudi Arabia even though out of footprint,
Try the following for Insat4B
210 cm full solid dish
prime focus Ku lnb

You should be OK.
