Need TRAI to intervene

This wont stop unless TRAI intervenes. And it seems TRAI is in no mood to act in best interest of DTH subscribers.

Lets hope TRAI wakes up soon.

My System: Sky UK. FTA analogue & digital satellite from 6 fixed dishes (5E/7E/9E/10E/13E/16E/ 19E/23E/28E) Pace MSS100, Echostar IP3000VA, Technomate TM-1000D, Dreambox 7020S

Theres no point waiting for governmental action - people need to hit the companies where it hurts - and move over to one of the other pay tv companies. Only mass defections will get Tata to reduce their subs costs.

BTW - just been looking at the exchange rates - 5500 rupees is about 70UKP

Yes, subscribers should dump the company in mass should move to other DTH service provider.
In our context the cost of DTH subscription is costly. It wont work if you directly compare indian rupees with UKP. One has to consider many other parameters like per capita income etc. to be able to come to conclusion.
