Dear Friends,
I'm able to get all 14 channels on Tp 12595 H 40700 yesterday after 1.30 pm.

Actually all are recorded re-transmissions.....signal quality is 85% crystal clear result.
Guys,
T-sky is using Videoguard NDS which is also a very stong see follow the link below and understand how audeo/video signal get scrambled....

How are you getting signals of these 14 channels over Dishtv(zee) ?

Are you using some other decoding method for this ?

On my STB Im getting "scrambled channel" message for each star channel.

By the way somebody is getting the DD Malayalam with the name stored other than that in the Test TPs?

Dth in India at last is ready to present true compitition to cable.Now with the introduction of all the channels in Dishtv and soon to be launching Tata Sky exciting times ahead in Indian Entertainment.

Few points i wish to make About Dth that needs to be addressed.

1.CAS in Dth: since Dth is truely addresable system,Trai should soon come out with Directions regarding A La Carte pricing of channels .People should be able to choose and pay only for channels they watch .

2.Where the Hell is Interoperability?
I must say this: TRAI IS A TOOTHLESS ENTITY,It can't get to implement the license conditions.
Rules and Regulations are only for law abiding citizens .Big Corporations are immune .
I can understand the logic of Dth operators that having propreitory STB's gives them more ability to Keep Piracy at bay.
But LAW IS LAW : They have signed the license conditions and they should follow them.Or the Regulator must change the rules.

3.Quality or Signals
Since at present Both the Operators are also Broadcasters ,they tend to favour their own channels at the expense of other channels .
Case being the Bandwidth they use for their own channels vis a vis rival channels.Eg on satcods scan of 1st Aug i found this bandwidth HBO 0.18 Mbps Zee Studio 3.41 Mbps ,the result being a quality channel like HBO becomes Eye Sore due to washed out effects.
Now I subscribed to Dishtv because of HBO and they are providing this premium channel like Pirated CD Effects.
This quality issue needs to be sorted out .There are other examples when one compares the bandwidth

Apart from these DTH is all set to rock.It provides now a truely viable alternative to the cablewala monopoly.And for those in Rural and enterior parts of India Entertainment is just going to happen.
BUT I MUST STRESS THIS : THE REGLATOR HAS TO TRUELY REGULATE EFFICIENTLY. I advocate a separate regulator for Cable and Satellite who will ensure the rights of both Operators/Broadcasters and Consumers.

hi DISHTV BEGIN FAKE LIST OF star channels SO WAIT AND WATCH WHAT HAPPEN.....SO T/\T/\-SKY is giving gud facility to watch more tv with one DTH in home with same recevier by paying Rs. 100 per tv and watch different channel on different tv.......so T/\T/\-SKY is best

Time Now and Zoom will start their transmisson soon on dish tv.

They are quick this time.But they changed the tp .It is now 11172H27500
with star One ,Plus,Movies,World ,Gold and News
But where are Nat Geo,History channel....
......Patience my boy patience....

We seem to have duplicate names of the above 6 channels ie star One,Plus etc.One set of 6 above channels with $ sign and another without $ .

So far only 6 out of 14 are visible.

My favourites Nat Geo and History are missing.

Perhaps we might see them by tommorow day time.

I gettinng all 14 star channels with good quality sometimes it disappears..and come.. god know.....what they do???????

I'm using TechnoCraft Universal Emmbeded Reveiver fitted in my PC using Tetra auto descambling method to crack some Dishtv channels for some time when auto update is not available, receiver is bypassing scambled portion for a flick time and all I get is 10 to 30 minutes of any Dishtv channel.

sounds dramatic as no crack is available for Dishtv(Conax) this gives it cherry on the cake.

T-Sky is cool, i'm sure it will give spanning boost to DTH industry...

Any suggestion & comment pls.

How are you able to get all 14 channels.. here we are just able to watch 6 channels.. whereas the rest 8 are still not running.. just able to see their names on list.

the other 8 channels are available on new TP on which there are channels such as Channel7, total tv, ETv rajastan etc...

Very valid points MaxiBig. I wish we discussed more of such things in this forum than getting titillated over the launch of Tata-sky channels. Do you think we have civic organizations which might take up these issues?
Alternatively, how about complaining to the TDSAT directly in the hope that it might take up suo motto action?

consumer courts are a better option .Unfortunately, TDSAT cannot be directly approached by subs.

Hey buddy, actually i'm also able to view only 6 channels but in the midnight after 1.30 pm sometime all 14 are open for some time...

i have a problem in kaon digibox dishtv receiver.
A SMS alert flashes always on top corner of screen.
Whenever i tried to open mailbox,the stb got crashed and restarts again.
However stb functions normally for watching channels.

Star Vijay added to the 6 star channels visible.

So now 7 Star channels visible on Dishtv.
