COMBO DTH BY apnadth Is it worth for a beginner?

Hello to all professionals out there I am from Hyderabad India i ve been through the site apnadth.com i was quite impressed by the c band combo dth. icalled the callcentre tey said we can recieve the signals from asiasat3s using c band lnb and nss 6 using ku band .they said it has a disecq switch .My question is that if i can receive singnals from other satellite which are stronger than that of the asiasat 3s.. i know how to align the dish to a particlar satellite . I will use the sattracker on the lyngsat.com.. please suggest If I can buy that and fiddle around with that to receive fta channels in the c band and ku band.I know that it has 90 cms antenna.

waitiing for u pros to help me out

My System: Sky UK. FTA analogue & digital satellite from 6 fixed dishes (5E/7E/9E/10E/13E/16E/ 19E/23E/28E) Pace MSS100, Echostar IP3000VA, Technomate TM-1000D, Dreambox 7020S

Unless the C-band signals are very strong you may well find 90cm is a bit small for good reception.

You can browse thru lyngsat/satcodx for details of the footprint and dish sizes. If you can invest for a big dish you can track more satellites.I think it is not worth going for the combo dish from Apna DTH as the Asiasat has only a few channels to see for Indian viewers except Sahara in C band.My opinion is to invest for big dish to receive sats like Insat which are meant for Indian viewers only.

No - 39dBW on C - band requires a dish about 1.7m in diameter!

http://www.flysat.com/dish.php

If thats the power level at your location you arent going to get anything on a 90cm dish.
