Sun Direct DTH - Booking Started !!!!



Sun TV Network has finally launched their DTH service under the brand name of Sun Direct DTH.

The network is owned by the Maran brothers and they are currently offering 75 television channels along with 15 radio channels for an attractive price of Rs. 75 per month!

Booking is open now and the company as a promotional package is giving away the Dish and the Set Top Box for free (I think this offer is valid only in Tamilnadu )

People subscribing to the service before the end of the current month are also being offered two months of free subscription!

STBs are from Coship Electronics (coship.com) I think ..
No idea about the model number and other details..

in India we have a few ku band. and then some are going to be mpeg-4. it's bad.
Because mpeg-4 is more efficient and one can squeeze more channels on one transponder with minimal / no loss of quality.
