Summer has arrived (UK)

Summer has arrived in the UK: my first ouzo and ice in the garden

Lens is a 50mm Super Takumar circa 1960. First photo is probably F1.4 and second maybe F4.0 -notice the difference in bokeh (the blurring of the background).

Cheers!

Ernie- 'It's nice out isn't it'.
Eric - Yes, I think I'll get mine out as well'.

My System: Dream7020 and lots of junk all over the place

One of (many) reasons to live way up north is that we have a (sometimes) very loong spring. The natur is slowly coming into full bloom.

We usually have plenty of time to prepare for the summer during a long and nice spring.

or, in one sentence

We are close to spring now

Days are getting 5 mins longer every day until Midsommer (in June) when we have no dark at all. Love the spring Hail the Summer

I´ll have a drink as well

Cheers Dig

As the days lengthen, may your body strengthen
As the nights brighten may your pocket lighten ( well it would if you drink all night and don't go the bed )

Summer by the sea in Scandinavia, and Winter in a cosy wooden house. Heaven.
