My System: Mostly gathering dust cos there's no room for dishes here... :( The Sleepy Hollow pollracle has spoken! | The other day, when it was actually sunny and warm, I heard a load of starlings chattering away, I looked about on the local chimneys & aerials, but I couldn't see a thing, then I looked at the tops of my Leylandii trees, and there they were, in a big group!!! I had to get my camera out for this one!!! | ||

I have noticed a large number of birds these days in Israel whereas 30 years ago there were not many at all as I recall. Presumably as the vegetation increases so do the insects and then the birds Last one is obviously not a bird but a colourful cricket type insect | ||

My cousin is a complete outdoor nut, he goes all over GB and Europe bivouacking with his Mrs and the dogs. Last week they called in at the Pen-y Ghent Falconry Center. What a magnificent bird a falcon is, but aren't 2 and 3 an eagle? I'm sure Rolf will answer this | ||
