My System: Sky HD, TM6800HD, Manhattan Plaza ST550 and TM1500 CI+. 1.0m dish and 36v motor, Panasonic DVD HDD recorder and Panasonic video/DVD recorder. Sony G800 HD TV stand/surround system + Sony KDL40W2000. Infinity USB, Elvis, CAS1, CAS2.

Hello Pasha99 and welcome to the forum

I've moved your request to a more appropriate section. Have a look through the other threads/posts to get a feel for things. There's lots to get your teeth into.

The Technomate 1500CI + is a very good and reasonably priced receiver.

My System: TM6800HD, TM1000, TM600 Linux,TM5200, TM2200 motor, Triax TD110 dish + Fortec 85cm. Meter=Satlook Micro+G2 NIT

Hi,

Both the technomate and a 90cm dish are a very good start. The technomate 1000 series are very easy to use.

Have a look at the site sponsors sites to see if you can get it all from one place.

http://www.satellites.co.uk/index.php?page=sponsors

Have a look at Rolfs tutorial to see what mounting hardware you will need.

http://www.satellites.co.uk/satellit...or-others.html

there is another by longstockings.

Basically you will need:
Receiver
Dish (pole mount type)
Motor (H-H)
Good quality Satellite Cable
F-Connectors x4
Pole + T K brackets (better)
or wall bracket (not as good)
Satellite finder meter (optional, but makes things easier)
self amalgamating tape or boots
Cable clips (8mm I think)

It depends on what motor you get. For a Diseqc motor a V-box is not required. The V-box is needed for the more powerful and faster 36V motors
