Topfield 4000PVR Plus - Standby/timer/channel display?

Have my newish receiver set up with a number of timed recordings. All was well with the receiver coming out of Standby, "Reco" being displayed on the front of the box and programmes being recorded. Now the time is displayed constantly even during regular operation (no channel numbers) and the box will not come out of Standby to record.

Any thoughts as to what's happened? Can't find a setting or anything in the manual to switch modes or anything like that.

Thanks.

Sorted this by power cycling at the mains. Now works as it did a few weeks ago. Thanks to all who took a look.
