Alternative Satellites

Hi

It looks like I wont be able to get Sky even with a large pole in my back garden, due to trees in front of the house.

So before I throw myself off a bridge or make do with an ariel digi box, are there any alternative satalite/systems I could point at to get some decent channels (really want Sky 1 and sport if possible). Dont have any kit yet, apart from my sky HD box, and willing to buy whatever I need.

Do you have a neighbour that would allow you to put a dish on their property and run the cable through to your Sky box? That is presuming the neighbour doesn't have the same problem as you. Apart from that I can see no alternative if it's Sky you are after, apart from moving house!
