What is a pulse warning? is this a noise and what limit are you referring to?

OK self explanatory but again is this when booting or selecting a channel?

So you can get into the menu but once in you cannot get out again.

Are the new batteries in the correct way round???

I think more detail will lead to a more fruitful set of possible solutions

I apologise if my post were short on detail, the self will continue as best I can.
In the set up menu move the dish to the Eastern most satellite, do the same for the most Western satellite and store.
This was done a few years ago when I first bought the ST500, at the moment I’m parked on Hotbird 13.0E. receiving no picture. When I attempt to move the dish East or West after a few clicks a “No Pulse” warning appears, meaning I have reached the limits already set which is not the case.
As I have already said I’m parked on Hotbird and no picture when I boot, attempts to move to a different satellite fail,
once in the menu I have to switch the machine off to exit, the new batteries have been inserted matching the instructions.
