Any Sky compatible receivers out there?

Hi all

I am looking for a receiver which does the following things:
  • DiSEqC support (4 LNBs)
  • 3 or 4 CAMs
  • Sky card keep alive (to avoid having to stick it back into the Sky box every so often)
  • PVR
  • Dual tuner
  • HD support
Any suggies?

I heard that only Linux based receviers can keep a Sky card alive. Is that true?

Thanks.

My System: Sky UK. FTA analogue & digital satellite from 5 fixed dishes (5E/7E/9E/13E/16E /19E/23E/28E) Pace MSS100, Echostar IP3000VA, Technomate TM-1000D, Dreambox 7020S

The last noble sat warrior to fly the olden flag of Analogue

Thats going to be a tough call to get all those aspects in one receiver.

The Linux boxes are indeed the only ones that will keep a sky card alive.

My System: DM 600 PVR with HDD. Gemini 4.50, Moteck SG2100, Fracarro Penta 85 dish, + some puters

I'd say one of the new Dreambox's is what you need.

Have a look at the DM-800, I think its just a single tuner though.

Or the eagerly awaited DM-8000, (nice but pricey). It will have 2 tuners.

Yes, Using a softcam like CCcam can keep the card alive.

My System: Dreambox 800 Nabilo Blackhole v0.3/250 Gig/ Dreambox 500s-(clone) PLi Jade/ Relook 400s 160 Gig-/AbCom Enigma Foretec 90cm Dish with Nikkai Diseqc Motor- 2 sky+ receivers fixed 28.2 east.

What about Abcom ipbox9000hd. There is a lot of development going on for this box, new images appearing very regularly. Twin plug n play tuners allowing recording of 2 hd channels while viewing hd recordings from the hard disk. Check out this review from Dr Dish. Fancy one myself now. Lol
