I'm thinking of picking up one of these cheap units to use as a secondary box in another room; does anyone own one?

And, if so, could you please post a brief review of the unit?

I have a Fortec Star Passion receiver already, so I like and trust the brand.

My System: IDD CI24 ECONO MM Penta 1.20 Galaxy II 1.2Mtr Polar MTG yes it has been on the arc for 21 years and is still driven by a modified wiper motor from a Ford Anglia. It's like me sometimes groans but always performs

There is a lot information about the kits there is however an anomoly with some of the kits which should you buy one you need to know

My System: Sky+, DB 7000s, Gemini 4.3 in flash, Var on USB stick. Transparent 80cm Dish, Moteck SG2100 DiseqC motor, lots of legacy gear. Meters: Satlook Digital NIT, Unaohm EP313, Swires Annie 204 Spectrum, Rover ST-4 Spectrum.

Aside from the LNB problems,Fortecstar would not be in my top 10 choices of receiver, there are a lot better on the market, from both reliability, build quality and software support standpoints.
