Hello

Welcome to the forum mackd69

I have moved your post from the Portuguese section, or were you wanting a reply in Portuguese?

Well what makes you so sure you can 'program it up and unlock channels'
In order to do that you would need a source of unofficial software, have you already got that?

There are a couple of links here in blue, one I assume is official the other not so.

Well

You can only ask, I have absolutely no experience with your receiver so I may not be able to help

i have an sft2000, and the only useful site i found info on was via a group on yahoo....i dare say the programing priciples are the same for the 1000 and the 2000. the group has manuals and instructions, ....you need a null modem cable, and the 4 files from the "software" - one file is a loader, one is software, one is softcam load, on is softcam...
one of the links in blue does take you to a "software" site which i found good...

how many messages do you have to post to enable PM - 5 or 10??

That is only one element, you have to be a member for at least one month as well. What is the problem?, if you have information for the o/p and want to post a link then precede it with a _ that way it will not become active. Any information should be available for all members, PM's are not beneficial to other members.

cheers top, i'll blame you the if i cokitup!!!

_http://tech.groups.yahoo.com/group/sft-2000/

how to's, manuals, daily softcam files for a polish set of stations, etc etc,

it may be for the 2000, but it will at least give you pointers....

some SFTs do have a few poor components inside, like low power capacitors that can blow, but on the whole they are a nice simple easy to use (reprogramme) receiver
