I would like to buy a receiver for Italian television, not just to watch the FTA channels, also be able to get Rai Afrika using a CAM.Can anybody suggest a receiver that is well supported both by USB and has a CI slot?If you can give me an idea of price and any other feature the decoder has as an added extra. Thanks | ||

My System: Satellite Dish 1.6m Hotbird 13E, DreamBox 7000S with Gemini 4.5.0; Dish 1.2m Amos 4W, Nokia 9600S; Nokia 9800S; Hauppauge Nexus-S PCI Card ![]() He battled for 3 days against the Tux and won! Hurray!! |
Can add an HDD and make it PVR. Also has smartcard reader in addition, use it with software emulator to open official cards without the need for another CI module. Ethernet interface for connecting to internet, get e-mail, browse websites, has a keyboard connector (use USB hub). Check all the features from the Dreambox website. Or try to buy a second hand or even cheaper a 7000S second hand. What is so special about RAI Africa (presumably on Hot Bird 13E)? I think that it is compromised, but I could be wrong.
