cryptoworks card on Astra 23.5

Does anybody know why the slovak channels on this satelite have become scrambled even though I have the cryptoworks slovak link card, which I bought in slovakia 2 years ago, and have been using for that time with no problems. Do the cards expire after a few years or what? Help would be appreciated. Thanks.

My System: Sky+, DB 7000s, Gemini 4.3 in flash, Var on USB stick. Transparent 80cm Dish, Moteck SG2100 DiseqC motor, lots of legacy gear. Meters: Satlook Digital NIT, Unaohm EP313, Swires Annie 204 Spectrum, Rover ST-4 Spectrum.

Go into the CAS section of the receiver menu and see if there is expiry information for the card.

Tried that rolf but all I get is the list of channels available on each card. I wanted to contact cryptoworks but it seems they"ve been bought out by Irdeto, could that be the reason do you think?

OK, I thought that they were subscription cards, rather than one off payment cards, so you may have bought a 2 year package. Will see if I can find any information.

As a matter of interest, have you patched your Technomate recently, perhaps coinciding with the loss of channels?

It was a one off payment but I didn"t think it was for a limited time, not for the price, about £70. Bought it in slovakia via a friend as you need to show evidence that you live there. If you can find out anything I"d be grateful. In the meantime I"ll try to contact the person who got it for us.
Thanks rolfw
