My System: nilesat showsports 2.4 m fortec dish
showtime setup problem ? Help

I wonder if anyone can help. I have e just had a 2.4 meter fortec dish put in for show time sports . I am using a techno mate tms 1500 and a tms 1600 with a irdeto cam . The problem is neither of the boxes can pick up the showtime channels when we do the channel scan. I have bored a top field receiver which has bean tuned scanned already and this is showing the signal strength is ok on the showtime channels on both vertical and horizontal channels. Just wondering why I cant pick them up on either of my techno mate boxes. ? Would be good if anyone could help.

Two possible answers - pick the one that you prefer.

A} If you can't tune any in the many fta channels on 7°w your dish is not correctly aligned.

B} Technomate receivers don't AU Showtime - the claims that they do are either false or misjudged.

My System: TM6800HD+TD110+StabHH90 motor,TM1000D+Orbital 1m Multifeed 16E,23E,28E.DigitAlB movies. A Bigsat BS-S77CX and a Sky Dodgibox.

Hi,

Go to lyngsat.com and check which transponders you need.

Then go to your receiver and make sure that you have them listed. If not add them in.

The TM 1000 series will work with the Showtime Channels.
