Hi,

I would have thought you'd be able to get the channels from Astra 1E on the Sky dish, depends what you mean by 'old', is it a minidish?

Find 28E first (BBC ITV etc), then gently swivel the dish west a bit, and up a touch, and you should be able to pick them up.

You are outside the footprint for Astra 3a, so a larger dish will be needed.

EDIT, just seen your other post.

Just because you are a little off the footprint, does not mean you can't receive it, you just need a bigger dish than normal, to give more gain.

Who knows, a 1.2m might do it, but someone who lives in your area would be able to advise.

(I get it easily on my 1m here)

120cm for Astra3 will cope with rain fade.
Astra1E fine with a 60cm

First you must find a cheap CSlink card and then worry about the dish and receiver.
I have seen at at 512 pounds which is far more than your budget for the whole system.
Do your search yourself. Germany and Italy are cheaper than the UK.
Have you tried to buy the card from Czechoslovakia
Do you have friends or family there who can help you?

My System: Pace Sky HD, DM7000s, CubeRevo 3000HDPVR, Transparent 80cm Dish, Moteck SG2100 DiseqC motor, lots of legacy gear. Meters: Satlook Digital NIT, Televes H45 Digital Spectrum analyser.

I'm sure the poster has friends and family in Czech, so the card shouldn't be a problem, perhaps if they get the receiver from there with the card, then only the dish needs to be bought and perhaps a local installer to mount and align it.

My System: Sky UK. FTA analogue & digital satellite from 6 fixed dishes (5E/7E/9E/10E/13E/16E/ 19E/23E/28E) Pace MSS100, Echostar IP3000VA, Technomate TM-1000D, Dreambox 7020S

The last noble sat warrior to fly the olden flag of Analogue

This is theCzech Link package list:

_http://www.lyngsat.com/packages/skylink.html

Most of the channels are on Astra 1E which is an exceptionally easy catch on small dishes.

The channels on Astra 3A (difficult in the UK) are CT1, 2, 4, 24, Prima & Noe, plus a few Slovak channels.

If you want the 3A channels you are going to need a biggish dish - if you can do without then a 60-80 cm dish will be fine.

Analoguesat's message to the world
Analogue forever!

OK. Very good. Wasn't apparent from your previous posts if you have the card or not.
Now your next step is to find a suitable receiver with Cryptowork support.
You should make sure if the card need to be paired (married) to the receiver or not. My guess is probably not.
A cheap possibility might be buying a Dreambox 500S (clone most probably these days) and using CCcam emulator to save you buying a Cryptowork CAM. Cost 50-100 pounds
But you would need to install an image that will not kill the box.
There are receivers with multicrypt support, but I can't tell you if Cryptowork is included.
Have a look at this list
http://www.sateuropa.co.uk/overview....tid=1&subcat=1
Do you have any friends or family who watch this package?
You can test your card on their system and if it works then just buy the same receiver.

Technisat DIGIT MF4-S CC has Cryptowork and Conax and is good for your CSlink cards (they even mention it in the spec). also it has an additional CI slot for other encryptions.
_http://www.technisat.com/indexb899.html?nav=Sat_DVB_S_,en,64-155
Costs about 100 euro in Germany.
I suggest you go over the list here and see if there is a better choice

Edit:

Found it at Sateuropa 115 Punds

Looks more expensive. Has more features. Check the price.
It's your decision which receiver to buy and there is always something better AFTER you buy it. Don't blame us afterwards if you make a bad choice.
You have now enough information to get you started in the right direction.

A Sly digibox won't work for the channels your require from Astra1E/3A.

Have you decided what channels you want yet so that you can determine what dish size you would need for either 1E or 3A satellite ?

By the way is there even small chance if i will get these 3 channels with 60 dish from my place???

So i have to buy 60 dish .Satteliteman do you think if i have to wait untill i get my reciever and then try it on Sky dish or ?????

And 1 more question what else ill be able watch with 60 dish ?? i mean Astra 1E etc etc???
