My System: i have a start sat reciever and a showtime card
New member here

Hi,

Im a new member and iv got a question regarding my satelite reciever.

I have a starsat reciever and use the showtime card. Tha card is valid for 1 year but i was told that whenever the chanels are scrambled, i can get the code from the net and update it. I have no clue about how you update or what cables etc i need so i joined this forum and i hope i can get some help from the memebrs here.

Can you tell us more about your receiver?
Does it have a CI CAM (Iredeto for Showtime) and you insert the smartcard in? Otherwise how did you manage to open the channels in the package till now?
Do you actually have a card or you subscribed to CS?
With a suitable receiver and a valid subscription card, you don't need any connection to the net.
