Hi all , after becoming sick of sky i would like to know what best systems are to get me going to receive as many channels as possible, my set up at the moment is :- Hd in main room on 43" pioneer and Sd in bedroom. Anyone any recommendations ??? Thanks | ||

| Depends upon your Budget and upon more detail about your interests. However, "as many Channels as possible" suggests multi-Satellite and, as you are "HD Ready", you might consider something like a Humax Foxsat Freesat HD Receiver (which can be used for multi-Satellite purposes) or a Fortec Star Passion. A Motorised Dish of around 1m would be a useful thing to install and that would enable the Receiver to get SD and HD Channels from quite a lot of Satellites, given your location. | ||

| Yes, but the PVR features themselves only have full functionality on Freesat. Humax have suggested they will attend to the shortcomings in non-freesat mode as a low priority . I don't have the PVR version, just the original Foxsat, which is pretty good for Multi-Satellite use. | ||
